This mix is a part of long listening and slow recollecting process of writing sound memoir(s).

This is very much a personal mix, having original recordings from places and moments that I lived and stayed in. It begins with a recording at a small yard from my parent's house. It is where my mind constantly comes back to. In the middle of process, I found out that I had many sounds of specially raindrops in my recording archives. That fact made me think of connections among sounds of dripping and its affect on the act of record and recall.

While I was making this, I was reading Virginia Woolf's unfinished autobiographical essay, <A Sketch Of the Past>. It was a book in which she began without definite form and the writing abruptly stopped. The read encouraged me to walk into my own memories through sounds without too much hesitation. So here, I share what I got.

This mix was first on air on 24th March, 2023 for 14th edition of ToBe Continued, organized by Topolò-Topoluove Association. Thanks to Moreno from Topolò for his continuing friendship.

I do not know what will be the next track to be added under this strings of sound memoir, but "in the sure and certain knowledge that it will find itself--or if not it will not matter--I begin: the first memory"
